MBO instructor, record your study plan
Instructors who started working at an MBO institution from 1 August 2018 - in a permanent job, as a temporary worker or, for example, as a seconded - must meet the legal competence requirements in the field of pedagogical and didactic knowledge. As an instructor, you basically have 24 months to acquire that qualification.

Training courses have been developed for this. The courses can be followed at a university of applied sciences or at the employer through an internal training course.
As an instructor - sometimes also referred to as a 'supervisor' - you are entitled to a training course when you obtain your competence. Part of the training process is the study plan, which includes study leave, budget and coaching.

“Make sure that these facilities are properly recorded in the study plan,” advises sector manager Hélène Jansen of the AOb. “Employers often want you to sign a study agreement. Please contact one of our AObconsultants in the region. ” In each region there are several counselors who are active in addition to their teaching job for the AOb. You can ask a consultant for advice or invite them to your school to comment on the AOb or to tell the collective labor agreement.
