A determination committee works on behalf of the CvTE. The determination committee determines the assignments and correction instructions for the central examination on behalf of the CvTE. The members of the determination committee are teachers who work in secondary education. The chairman comes from secondary education at the level at which the determination committee determines the exam.

A member of the determination committee:

  • assesses and determines examination papers for the central examinations for the relevant subject;
  • advises on the standardization of the central examinations of the relevant subject;
  • thinks about the construction assignment to the Cito Foundation for the central examinations of the subject in question.

Our ideal candidate:

  • is authorized to teach the subject in question;
  • has good professional knowledge and skills in the field in question;
  • teaches the subject in question in examination classes of the required level.

It is an advantage if you:

  • expertise in the field of examination and testing;
  • have experience and/or demonstrable affinity with the field in question.

Members of determination committees must be able to do their work freely, without being tied to a particular point of view or position. Therefore, membership of a determination committee cannot be combined with:

  • the authorship of a teaching and/or educational method;
  • membership of the Cito construction group (or have recently been);
  • the chairmanship or membership of the board of a professional association.
