General board member of Groene Golf
The Green Wave is an active movement within the AOb who stands up for starting teachers and interns, with a starting network in which we have contact with our active supporters. We make our critical voice heard in a positive way. The Green Golf board consists of 7 teachers from different sectors. The board members work largely on a voluntary basis, but do have a number of hours that are divided among themselves.
Who are we looking for?
A new board member who functions well as a member of a team, but is not afraid to give his own opinion when necessary. He/she has sufficient time to take this position seriously, enjoys organizing (online) meetings and can think strategically. You would also like to gain managerial experience and are willing to invest time in it.
What are your duties as a board member?
- PR and communication with members, students and starting teachers
- Representation in media, trade union and politics
- Organizing local/online activities for starters and interns
What can the Green Wave offer you?
- You get 'a look behind the scenes' regarding the administrative organization within the AOb and Groene Golf as an advocate
- You gain management experience
- A valuable network, a wealth of experience and a good addition to your CV
- The opportunity to follow relevant courses and training AOb
- Attendance at the General Meeting and Sector Councils of the AOb and relevant meetings
Vacancy / what do we ask of you
- Connection to the Green Wave for at least 2 years
- Consultation and brainstorming once every 4 weeks
- Involvement in organizing meetings for students and starting teachers
- Working in primary, secondary education, higher professional education, university education and/or working in the south or southwest region is an advantage
- Participation in team training and training days of the Groene Golf and the AOb
