The profession of school leader has changed considerably in recent years. In the last collective labor agreement, the AOb together with the other unions and the employers' organization PO-council against scrutinizing the position and remuneration of school leaders and managers.
New job descriptions must be introduced for directors in primary education, special primary education and (secondary) special education who and do justice to the range of duties and the work of directors. Responsibilities, authorities and tasks must be recorded with an appropriate job evaluation. This concerns the full picture of the deputy director's position: at school, multi-school, Integrated Child Center and supra-school.

Do you want to contribute ideas about the job descriptions? Sign In for one of the meetings via the website of the PO council. Under the guidance of a moderator who specializes in job descriptions, we engage in groups to discuss your role, tasks and competences when it comes to education, strategy, operational management and leadership. How are the formal agreements recorded and does this differ from how things are done in practice? What do you do as a director? And what do the school board or staff members do?
New sample job descriptions are made based on the interviews with directors. All directors, managers, school boards, teachers, support staff and HR managers are invited to respond to the recognisability of the new job descriptions.
