Program action week 'Invest in education'
From Monday 11 to Friday 15 March there are promotions throughout the Netherlands. Think of primary schools that perform original noise actions. Or erecting a wall of compliment for lecturers at universities. Representatives of the AOb, FNV and FvOv visit schools across the country to discuss the need to invest in education.

Examples
At OBS The Petteflet in Groningen For example, they create flop classes on Wednesdays to show how big the classes are. And on Monday afternoon the students dance in the schoolyard for the parents.
De universities in Groningen, Utrecht and most likely in Amsterdam create a compliment wall for teachers. #give your teacher a compliment
Viewer discretion The Scale in Zwolle start the action week with a noise parade through the neighborhood. On Tuesdays, the teachers go to school in black and the children are asked to do the same. On Wednesday, the youngest pupils can draw a picture of their 'tired teacher'.
Public Dalton school 't Palet in Leusden also has an action every day. On Monday, March 11 at noon, the students make a row of honor and the teachers receive a thunderous applause. And on Thursday, all students are allowed to wear a cap in class. 'Hats off to the teachers of 't Palet'.
Monday, March 11
Call to start the action week AOb, FNV and FvOv all schools in the Netherlands to insert a moment of noise and applause at 12.00 noon. Parents, pupils, students and education staff can show that they all think that investing in education is urgently needed. Many schools are already known that are going to work on the noise and applause action. We will name a few: OBS The Windhoek in Almelo (NL); From St. Bernard School in Epe (together with the local voluntary fire brigade); OBS Twekkelerveld in Enschede en Pass Partout in Venlo.

De University of Utrecht and the University of Amsterdam also participate in the noise moment. At 13.00 p.m. WO in Actie will be holding a noise moment in the Utrecht library in the city center and in a canteen on the Uithof. In Amsterdam, students organize a moment of noise and an adhesion to the teachers on Roeterseiland at noon.
In several places there are kick-off meetings where representatives of the unions are present:
- Groningen: From 11.30 am there will be a moment of noise and applause on the Academieplein. Followed by a conversation with Jouke de Vries (chairman of the board of the University of Groningen) and activists in the senate chamber. De AOb has called on all student members for a national pampering Wednesday for teachers at teacher training courses in higher professional education or at internship schools.

The UvA is holding a Roetersmars, a march near the Roeterseiland of the UvA.
Debate at Radboud University Nijmegen, Linnaeus building Room 6 from 15.00 pm. WO in Actie promoters Rens Bod, professor at the UvA, and Paola Gori Giorgi, professor at VU Amsterdam, will participate in the 'Science in Action' debate about the problems in academic education from the perspective of beta scientists.
Thursday March 14
In Amsterdam the action day starts at 8.30 am at a primary school, where a AObteam, together with parents and students, pay tribute to the staff before school. Then visit AObteams train across the city and discuss the lack of investment plans.
During the national action week on 14 March from 11.15 am, three scientists will discuss the biggest problems and possible solutions in scientific education with Education Minister Ingrid van Engelshoven (D66).
