Thousands of teachers on strike in Rotterdam
Thousands of teachers and other staff from primary and special education in South Holland and Zeeland have gathered in Rotterdam for a demonstration march through the Maasstad.

Much of the primary education in the Southwest submits during this fifth regional relay strike the work is down to improving teacher salaries and fighting the teacher shortage, which is increasingly being felt.
The march route runs via the Erasmus Bridge along the Nieuwe Maas towards the Euromast. A short event will be held on the Kievitsweide at half past one.

Other provinces already preceded the southwest last school year: on February 14 Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe, March 14 North Holland, Utrecht and Flevoland, April 13 Brabant and Limburg and May 30 Overijssel and Gelderland. Click here for one extensive review in an action-packed year.
