There is a general wage increase in two steps - 2,6 percent as of October 2018 and 2,3 percent as of June 2019 - and there are three one-off payments totaling 3,15 percent.

The members do draw attention to the other types of education in MBO (VMBO, VAVO), and are concerned about the creeping downgrading of education teams: the practice that more and more LB teachers are appointed instead of LC teachers. “Most of the teachers are now in scale LB”, say Van Gelder and Jansen. “That is a worrying development, especially given the fierce competition in the labor market. This makes working in secondary vocational education less attractive. "
