'The planned calamity exercise has caused such attention that we expect that next Wednesday there will be insufficient focus for the exercise itself', the school writes in a statement on the website.
Last week the school announced the exercise. In the message the school stressed that students were involved. Director Jan Berend van der Wijk explained this to the regional broadcaster: 'I have indicated that I do not want a banging actor in the hallway. That it should be some kind of spectacle. The school is now moving the exercise to a time later in the year. 'The goal of practicing with the threat of violence continues to keep the attention of the Alfa College and the police in order to be and remain well prepared for any incidents', according to the MBO institution.
