Koos visits schools in Amsterdam one day a week. “I don't do that to win souls for the AOb but to see what is going on and to make an inventory of whether there is a need for information about, for example, the collective labor agreement. Sometimes there is no time or I come at an inconvenient time, in which case I hand over my business card and leave again. Sector council

These people speak out about the employment conditions and educational issues that play a role in their sector.

Sector management

Every sector within the AOb has a sector board. The sector council (see above) elects a sector board that prepares the meetings of the sector council together with the members of the central management. As a member of a sector board you determine the agenda of a sector within the AOb and you are well informed of the developments. A member of the sector board has a term of four years. Look for vacancies on this page.

General meeting

The General Assembly (GA) is the highest body within the AOb. This meeting consists of about a hundred AOb-members. They determine, among other things, the policy and objectives of the association. The GM also adopts the budget and annual accounts and appoints the executive board. The board is accountable to the General Meeting. You can become a delegate in the general meeting through your sector. For more information, email: board @aob. Nl
