De AOb holds several WIA consultation hours in different regions. If you become ill for a long time, a lot will come at you. The voluntary WIA counselors of the union can assist you in legal and emotional matters.

Consultation hours for long-term sick members are organized in various regions between November 10 and March 25. In total there are about fifteen wia counselors from the AOb who assist people if they become incapacitated for work.
These are trained experience experts who know all about the rules for long-term absenteeism. These rules are quite complicated and the supervisors can help with, for example, the application and inspection process at the UWV. They can map out the situation well, provide information about rights and obligations and think along about which steps are necessary. For example, you can second opinion request from another company doctor.
