New chief drivers AOb
The General Assembly of the AOb has elected new chief executives. They provide input on terms of employment and education policy. They also monitor the union's progress.
The AObThe main board consists of twenty people who work in primary education, secondary education, intermediate vocational education, higher professional education and university education and research. They come from different regions in the Netherlands. Half of the board is elected every two years for a term of four years.
Eight posts were available for this term, for which thirteen candidates had put themselves forward. The main board members have been elected (from left to right in the photo): Jelmer Evers (Executive Board), Dorien König (East), Marianne Barendregt (North), Coba van der Veer (HBO), Sophie Piccardt Brouwer (Northwest), Hans Nieuwkerk (Departments), Tamar van Gelder (Day-to-day management), Henrik de Moel (Day-to-day management), Kim van Strien (VO), Andries Knol (MBO) and Ben Zwartjes (Departments).
