Members' consent makes collective labor agreement final
The collective labor agreement for secondary vocational education is final. The rank and file of the AOb, the other unions and those of the employers have all agreed to the agreement reached at the end of May.

On May 28, negotiators announced that an agreement lay. The AOb then surveyed the members: 98 percent indicated that they agreed with the agreements. The AObsector council, which includes fifty members who work at secondary vocational schools, finally agreed last week. Just like the other unions and the employers.
In addition to a wage increase, the agreement also includes an agreement to improve career prospects for teachers in particular, so that they can, for example, progress to an LC position. The job evaluation system is also being scrutinized because many jobs, for example in support, are no longer appropriate for this time.
In the poll, several members indicate that they are satisfied with the agreement to look at the career perspective. For example, one lecturer writes: 'I am very curious whether there will be a change in the future with regard to easier transfer to LC without becoming a typo for it.' A colleague writes in the open remarks: 'I would like to see more opportunities to grow into LC. My colleagues and I already carry out activities that belong to LC, but we are in LB.' Several members call on the negotiators to pay attention to the education management staff, they also deserve appreciation.

Workload
Van Gelder commented the webinar of 3 June where she explained the agreement, that there were questions about the workload. “The most frequently asked question was whether the agreement on work pressure from the previous collective labor agreement is now ending,” says de AOb-driver. The answer is that this agreement will continue for the next few years. “Every secondary vocational education institution has to draw up a plan every two years stating what they are doing to curb the workload. At the moment there are workload plans in almost all schools. If this is not yet the case, the AOb-rayon driver off to it. ”
