Appeal: too low a benefit?

Did you become unemployed on or after 1 March 2021 from a job in primary education? And do you receive unemployment benefit or sickness benefit? If you are a member, please contact the legal department of the AOb.

A salary increase of 2,25 percent has recently been agreed in primary education with effect from 1 January 2021. Because the salary increase will take effect retroactively, this may have consequences for the amount of your benefit. We are happy to find out if this is the case for you. Send an email to and enclose the UWV's award decision.

Employees who have been awarded unemployment benefits or sickness benefits before 1 March 2021 do not have to report.

This service is for AOb-members. They can report for the assessment and possible revision of their daily wage. Non-members will first have to become a member before our lawyers assess the situation. Become a member! People entitled to benefits can become members at a reduced rate.
