'Employer needs mr service package AOb compensate '
School boards must pay the costs of the mr service package AOb always reimburse. That is a decision of the national disputes committee for employee participation. The costs are 'reasonably necessary for the performance of the mr's duties', according to the committee.

The ruling means that mr members who the service package want to purchase from now on do not have to ask permission from their board. “This statement is a huge boost,” says AObpolicy officer Marcel Koning. "All mrs can now take out a package with us without prior permission."
Do not pay
The conflict between the participation council and the board occurred at the Avicenna College for Islamic secondary education in Rotterdam. The employee participation council informed the board in December 2018 that it would add a service package to the AOb of 495 euros. The drivers then announced by email that they would not pay the costs for the package, because the Mr had not requested permission. To prevent direct debits, the board did pay the bill, it says the pronounciation. The board then planned to withhold the amount from the salary of an mr member; then the mr went to the disputes committee.
The disputes committee agrees with the mr and finds that the board should simply pay the costs of the service package. The subscription consists of obtaining advice by telephone, four hours of legal assistance and discounts on courses, magazines and literature. Moreover, it is a fixed amount.

'It Service subscription entails a fixed annual amount and the amount does not depend on legal proceedings or the need to consult an expert ', according to the committee. The board does not need to be notified in advance. 'The committee considers the costs reasonable and can imagine the need for it.'
