Permit has been obtained, manifestation on Dam Square will take place on 6 November
The manifestation on Dam Square in Amsterdam is definitely going on. Today the municipality of Amsterdam left the AOb know that the permit has been completed. On November 6, there will be a manifestation on Dam Square between ten and eleven, where teachers, support staff, school leaders and other teaching staff demonstrate that additional investment is needed.

Comedian Dolf Jansen is leading the event on Dam Square in the right direction. During previous educational strikes, he was on stage at Malieveld in The Hague and in Zuiderpark. Amsterdam's Alderman for Education, Marjolein Moorman (PvdA), will also be present to tell more about the problem and the teacher shortage in Amsterdam. The DJ starts playing in Amsterdam from nine o'clock, the event starts at ten o'clock.
Events in the region
On strike day, there are rallies and rallies across the country. So there is in it WTC Expo in Leeuwarden a manifestation. In Eindhoven pop venue the Effenaar is one walk-in meeting for colleagues from the south of the country. A mobile stage passes through in the east four cities and stops in central squares. Education budget
On November 6, the AOb together with other unions, declared an education strike in primary and secondary education for additional investment to solve the problems of workload, teacher shortage and salaries. On that day, the House of Representatives will discuss the education budget and the unions therefore want everyone to make themselves heard as well as possible via social media in order to influence politics.
Closed schools
So far, almost two thousand schools have indicated that they will be closed on 6 November. Many school boards continue to pay that day and support the strike.
