Update CLA for secondary vocational education
The current collective labor agreement for mbo has been renewed on a few points and adapted to new legislation. It is about the chapter describing the scheme about illness and incapacity for work. The amended CLA applies from 1 May 2018.
The latest version of the collective labor agreement for mbo can be obtained via this link to download. The unions and employers have technically adapted the Sickness and Disability Scheme (Annex F) to new legislation. When this collective labor agreement was drawn up, it had already been agreed that the parties to the collective labor agreement would consult on this in order to arrive at a textual adjustment.
Now the new text about this arrangement. Employees whose first day of illness is on or after 1 May 2018 will be affected by the new scheme. Staff who were ill before that date will continue to fall under the old scheme.
The change has consequences for a number of other articles in the collective labor agreement. These have therefore also been adjusted. The AOb has a handy table in which you can see which articles are involved and what exactly has been adjusted.
