The cabinet has made agreements about this with universities, colleges and student unions. The binding study advice (BSA) will not be completely scrapped: in the next academic year, students must still achieve the standard.

The default registration date for new students is moved by one month
Furthermore, the standard registration date for new students will be moved by one month to 1 June. If prospective students have to come to the college or university for their study choice check, this will not happen for the time being.
MBO students
In addition, it has been agreed that MBO students should not be the victim of the crisis. If they have suffered a slight delay in their studies, they can start a higher vocational education anyway. They then have until January 1, 2021 to still obtain the MBO diploma.
