Poll results: teachers go on strike, schools close
Teachers in primary education are again en masse on December 12th. Schools will often be closed.

Are you on strike on December 12? That asked the AOb her followers on Facebook. More than 2500 responses were received. "Of course we are on strike and our school is closing!"
The vast majority of voters, over two thousand people, ticked the box 'yes' and indicated that their school is closed next Tuesday. Just over a hundred teachers and other education staff indicated that they will go on strike, but that their school will remain open.
Not a working day
There are also teachers for whom the strike day is not a working day. This is the case with nearly 250 people who took part in the poll. They do sympathize with the action. 'I would have been on strike if I had to work that day. Still weird ', a teacher responds under the poll. 'I have that feeling too. That you are not actually a striker, but you want to be, 'says a kindergarten teacher.
School leaders also filled in the poll: 63 directors and managers voted that they are behind the strike and that their school board also supports the action.
