School boards support strike
More and more school boards are supporting the strike in primary and secondary education. They do this not only by backing the demands, but also by not withholding pay when school teams decide to shut the door on Wednesday, November 6.
Support comes from all over the country and the list so far counts 32 school boards and school boards are still being added. In Limburg, the support of Movare comes with 46 primary schools, in Zwolle from the Public Education Zwolle en Regio (OOZ) foundation, a school group with 37 primary schools. The 18 schools for primary and special education of the Groningen board O2G2 will close. There is great support, especially in the Randstad. In The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, it concerns almost all boards that express their support and continue to pay.
Does your board support the strike and does it continue to pay the salary if the team strikes? Let us know via the promotion website.
Support
In Rotterdam and The Hague, almost all school boards support the strike after mutual consultation, both in primary and secondary education. In Amsterdam this applies at least to primary education. At least ninety percent of the Amsterdam primary school boards in the Broad Administrative Council (BBO) support the strike and continue to pay their salaries. Secondary education in Amsterdam is not aligned, the club of secondary schools leaves it to the individual school boards.
There are also boards in the Zaanstreek, Waterland, Het Gooi, Amersfoort and IJsselstein that have indicated that they support the strike and do not withhold any wages. Apart from that, members of the unions indicate that they are going on strike and their school is closing on the ticket of the action site 'Invest in Education'. Are you going on strike?
