Schools are closing en masse
More than half of Dutch primary schools, about 58 percent, have meanwhile registered for the strike on 5 October. This is apparent from the overview map on the website of the PO front, where schools are still being added.

In primary and special education there are more than 6800 schools if you count the number of main settlements. Reached today the counter with the number of striking schools at 11.00 a.m. 3945 schools.
The counter continues to rise and schools throughout the country will be closed. This is also apparent from local media. That's how it said Noordhollands Dagblad that probably all schools in West Friesland will be closed on October 5. Also the Eindhoven Daily wrote that the vast majority of schools are participating in the strike, just like the Gelderlander who toured large school umbrella organizations in the municipalities of Land van Cuijk and the municipality of Gennep.
