Public sector protest meeting on October 2
Trade union FNV, including the AOb, and professional associations from various public sectors, gathered in the collective 'Public Sector in Action', will hold a protest meeting in The Hague on Tuesday 2 October at 18.00:XNUMX pm.

Take action! The organizations call on employees who work in the public sector, such as healthcare, education, the police or defense and anyone who feels solidarity with them, to come to The Hague in their work outfit.
With the protest action, the organizations want to draw attention to the problems that the public sector is currently facing, such as high work pressure, lagging wages and increasing staff shortages. It jeopardizes the quality of these sectors.
Unacceptable
After years of austerity, the organizations find it unacceptable that the current cabinet is donating two billion euros to foreign investors and shareholders by abolishing the dividend tax, while the problems in the public sector are getting worse.
What it will look like on October 2 is still under development. More and more parties are joining. When the program is completed, this will be announced by the participating organizations. Download the flyer in advance.

Demonstration November 10
After October 2, the FNV will continue with various actions in the country. (See overview below). These actions will be the prelude to a large demonstration on 10 November in Amsterdam. With all these actions, the FNV wants to show politicians that they should choose people instead of shareholders. According to the FNV, the cabinet is making political choices that lead to a race to the bottom. With the abolition of the dividend tax, politicians are opting for large companies. Competing for the lowest price has to stop.
