The meetings in Utrecht were co-organized by the action group #oopdoetookmee: supporters who felt they had not been heard enough during the last strikes. “I was in The Hague during the strike on 6 November and everything was only about teachers,” says initiator and teaching assistant Benjamin Baars. "While we make education together." Standing on a chair that functions as a soapbox, speech therapist and co-initiator of #oopdoetookmee, Isolde Podt, adds: “The groups are too large, the opportunities for advancement are limited, the salary has not grown along.
