Negotiations for new CLA-MBO in full swing
De AObnegotiators in MBO are fully engaged in the negotiations for a new collective labor agreement in MBO. “We hope to reach an agreement in the short term,” says AObMBO driver Tamar van Gelder.

The current CLA-MBO runs until 1 July 2020. The negotiations started immediately after the employers, the MBO Council, had received the letter from the ministry stating how much wage increase is possible.
Van Gelder: "This time it is not about extensive negotiations because now is not the time to implement major changes." The agreements will mainly concern wages, because both unions and employers find it important that schools focus their full attention on the educational process. “That is difficult enough at the moment with the corona crisis,” says Van Gelder.
