New chief drivers AOb
The General Assembly of the AOb has elected new chief executives. They provide input on terms of employment and education policy. They also monitor the union's progress.
The AObThe main board consists of twenty people who work in primary education, secondary education, intermediate vocational education, higher professional education and university education and research. They come from different regions in the Netherlands. Half of the board is elected every two years for a four-year term. Eight posts were available for this term, for which eleven candidates stood for election. The main board members have been elected (from left to right in the photo): Frits Fraanje (departments), Simone Fomenko (po), Marijtje Jongsma (wo&o), Peter den Hartog (Southwest), Jetske van Woerden (mbo), Nicole ter Harmsel ( East), Dorien König (groups) and Trudy Kerperien (international affairs).
