New collective labor agreement for universities final
The provisional collective labor agreement for universities has been well received by the constituencies of both the trade unions and the employers' organization. Today it was hit.

De AOb polled its members in recent weeks. A large majority voted in favor of the negotiation agreement. As of this month, staff at universities will receive a structural wage increase of 3 percent. A one-off amount of 750 euros gross will also be paid out in June, in proportion to the employment contract.
Temporary employees
In addition, money has been reserved in the collective labor agreement to help temporary employees who run into problems due to the corona crisis. It is about 20 million euros. The AOb has there tried hard for it. Negotiator Donald Pechler: "Of course the structural salary increase is necessary to absorb inflation, but the supporters mainly want a solution for researchers whose temporary contract expires, while their research is not completed on time due to corona or is delayed."
