Mass participation on action day 27 June
The school trip of the Fonkeling leaves a little later, in West Brabant the schools are almost all closed for an hour. More and more schools are announcing that they will participate in the campaign on Tuesday 27 June.
The school trip of the Sparkling in Berghem leaves half an hour later. Because of the tenth anniversary, all students go to different playgrounds. Parents understand best that there is a strike, but find it difficult that the action coincides with the school trip. 'But it is about the team that is ready for their children every day,' says director István Turi about this in the Brabants Dagblad. He thinks the school should make a statement and therefore leaves a little later.
In West Brabant, almost all primary schools will remain closed for an hour longer on the 27th, writes BN De Stem.

Free hand
Dagblad De Gelderlander signals a great willingness to take action in the Nijmegen, Wijchen and Heumen region. 'The willingness to take action is almost 100 percent here,' says school administrator Vincent Scholte of public education from Heumen in that newspaper. All school boards at Voorne-Putten give their school teams a free hand, they say in the Algemeen Dagblad. 'Each school team shapes the prick campaign itself.'
Teacher Yuri Wieten from Kampen is coordinating the action in Overijssel and is also counting on massive participation there. In the Stentor he looks ahead. 'I don't call it a strike, but a stinging action. But if it doesn't work out, I can't rule out a real strike after the summer holidays.'
