Criticism of positive final exam grades

Journalism platform Sargasso refers this conclusion to the trash. Since 2008, the pass rate has declined, with a 2012 low of 89,8. That year, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science introduced new exam requirements whereby students must achieve an average of at least 5,5 for all subjects. In 2013, the requirement followed that only one of the subjects Dutch, English or Mathematics may score a five.
Diploma gift
Dekker believes that these measures pays off. But Sargasso shows that a higher correction value (N-term) has been applied since 2013, without a clear reason or substantiation for this.
