Come too! FNV action meeting on pensions on 24 November
The FNV, where the AOb is part of it, will hold an action meeting on pensions on 24 November from 13.30 pm in the Central Trade Union House in Utrecht. The pension consultation ended last Tuesday. Now is the time to speak up for a good pension.
Chairman Han Busker of the FNV: "It is incredibly unfortunate that we have not yet come to an agreement. We want a solution for the unsustainable increase in the state pension age and for the pension problem of the self-employed. At the moment, the cabinet does not want to move on a structural solution for this." Read the entire FNV press release here this link.
The unions accuse the cabinet of rigidity on all fronts. No pension for self-employed persons. Refuse to allow customization in sectors for people with heavy work. Stick to the far too low actuarial interest rate of De Nederlandsche Bank, while the rest of Europe expects a much more stable interest rate.

Now it's time to speak up for a good retirement. Register via the FNV website. AObmembers receive a free train ticket to Utrecht. During the action consultation, the FNV draws up an action plan. In the plan, the FNV does not deviate from the following requirements:
- Freeze the state pension age at 66 and cancel the fine on early retirement;
- Line indexing for each generation
- Offers a pension for everyone, including flex and self-employed
- We will never accept any deterioration
Come on Saturday too to the Central Trade Union House in Utrecht (Hertogswetering 159,
3543 AS Utrecht) and fight together for a good pension. Right now it is important to show the cabinet that we will enforce a good pension for everyone: if it does not work at the negotiating table, then in the companies and on the street.
