Main board agrees to open strike fund
The main board of the AOb has given permission to open the strike fund last Friday. The members of the central management hereby follow the advice of AObchairman Liesbeth Verheggen. A day after the disappointing debate in the House of Representatives on work pressure in primary education, she advised to open the strike fund.
The decision provides the opportunity to strike if the newly formed cabinet does not take sufficient measures to substantially increase salaries in education and to really reduce the workload.
The campaigns via #ikverdienmeer will continue, Verheggen announced earlier. Also, the AOb the Salary step-by-step plan and the manifesto about workload bring it to the attention of politicians.
