Eugenie Stolk not eligible for re-election as AObchairman
Eugenie Stolk does not stand for re-election as daily director of the AOb. She continues her career for the education union as district manager in the North region. From April Tamar van Gelder will be the deputy AObchairman.
During the Verkaring says Eugenie Stolk to find the presidency 'enormously honorable'. "I enjoy my job." But it is demanding and due to events in her private life she cannot always be available. 'While the role of executive director and chairman does require that.' That is why she has decided not to stand for re-election to the day-to-day management of the AOb. The education union will not lose the passionate director, Stolk will become district manager in her own North region.
Elections
From April onwards, the chairman duties are taken over by daily AObdirector and general secretary Tamar van Gelder. The election procedure for a new member of the executive committee will be set up as soon as possible. As soon as the executive committee is complete again, the members elect a new chairman from among their number.
Stolk was a member of the executive board since 2017 and chairman of the AOb. She has been working for the education trade union for almost twenty years.
