First actions for good collective agreement for secondary education

Since February, negotiations for a new collective labor agreement have been halted in secondary education. The AOb wants good agreements about salary and lowering the workload, but the employers' organization VO council has refused to make agreements for months on this last point.
In a newsletter sent to all AObmembers in secondary education, De Moel announced that the first actions are coming. The AOb demands a 3,5 percent pay rise and a teaching week of a maximum of 20 hours. “Only in this way can we guarantee the quality and continuity of secondary education in the future,” says De Moel.
De AOb therefore calls on all colleagues in secondary education, teachers and support staff, to make themselves heard via social media that something must be done about work pressure. With the hashtag: #VOsuppression can let them know.

Another action was announced on March 29 at the conference of the employers' organization VO Council in Nieuwegein. The intention is to call on employers with a group of teachers to come to a fair collective labor agreement. The conference of the VO Council takes place at the NBC Congress Center, Blokhoeve 1 in Nieuwegein.
