CLA negotiations for primary education have started
The collective labor agreement negotiations for primary education started today. The AOb finds it important to continue discussions with employers and the ministry, even if there is a strike. This is to get the promised money to the workplace as quickly as possible.
"There is no doubt that we are going for 1,4 billion. That is the amount needed to repair the current problems in primary education." At the same time, the AOb don't wait until the cabinet comes along to make new collective terms of employment. "The money that is already available must in any case reach the workplace as quickly as possible. The need is high now. We notice this every day by teachers who let it be known that there is no replacement for their classes, or by messages in the media about people who are willing to work in education, provided that something is done about salaries and work pressure."

Actions
In the meantime, the relay strikes are started and expanded. PO-front is calling on education staff in Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland to stop working on 14 February. That day a large event will be organized in Groningen.
The date and provinces of the second relay strike are also known: that will be March 14 in the provinces of Noord-Holland, Flevoland and Utrecht.
