Negotiations for a new collective labor agreement started at the end of May. The current collective labor agreement runs until 30 June 2023.
AObsector manager Donald Pechler is negotiating on behalf of the union about the collective labor agreement for research institutions and has asked the members what they consider important during the negotiation round. “Based on this, we wrote the commitment letter,” says Pechler. "Employers also want to make agreements about diversity and inclusiveness and vitality. These are matters that we also consider important."
The Collective Labor Agreement for Universities is often used for agreements on wages. Only there is left no collective agreement because the wage range of the cabinet is not yet known . The negotiators are now considering the first concrete proposals and the writing of collective labor agreement articles.
The next collective bargaining meeting is scheduled for June 28.
