You can apply for a teacher's grant until mid-May
Teachers who want to apply for a teacher grant have probably already circled 1 April in their agenda. From 1 April at 18.00 p.m. it is possible to apply for a grant that reimburses costs such as tuition fees and study resources for the 2022-2023 academic year. Applications can be made up to and including 15 May.

Teachers who work in primary schools, in special education, secondary education, or at MBO and HBO institutions can a request Submit.
Order
DUO grants the applications in a fixed order. First of all, the repeat requests from teachers for a second or third year of study will be approved. This is followed by applications that were submitted last year, but were rejected because the subsidy ceiling had been reached. Applicants were told last year that it had been awarded, but there were those who withdrew their application by November 1. Finally, the new first requests from teachers are discussed. Until the budget of 76,6 million euros has been reached.
Teachers who make a first application must do so immediately at 18.00 p.m. on April 1, 2022, DUO advises. This time is deliberately ahead of this year edited first from 00.00 to 18.00, because last year teachers had to make an application in the middle of the night.
At the end of June, DUO will announce how many applications have been approved.
