Ambitious team leader employee participation (0,8 – 1,0 FTE)

De Algemene Onderwijsbond (AOb) is looking for an inspiring and enterprising team leader who will take our services for employee representatives to the next level.

The exercise

Strengthening the mr and or in schools and institutions is one of the spearheads of the AOb† We call that empowerment. In recent months, a project plan has been drawn up and we are taking the first steps back to our position as the leading provider! In the coming years we therefore want to grow in market share and impact on schools.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates:

  • with experience in acquisition and leading the acquisition process
  • able to generate and analyze management information
  • with experience in and a passion for providing training
  • knowledge of the educational field and affinity with employee participation is an advantage
  • with university working and thinking level.

What are you going to do?

You will be responsible for the growth and development of services to employee representation councils. Within the AOb do you really have your 'own shop'. You provide operational leadership to 5 trainers and functionally to the 3 colleagues involved in the secretariat and 8 consultants. In addition, you work half of your time as a trainer/advisor. You are the link with the organisation, especially in close collaboration with MZ marketing and policy officers. You report to the head of department.

The team

The team provides training courses and advises participation councils. In addition to training courses on employee participation, training courses are also provided on funding education and staffing and task policy.

Colleagues from the secretariat process requests, provide teaching packages and invoices and maintain contact with customers. The team, together with Field Service and Policy, forms the Collective Interests Department.

De AOb With approximately 80 thousand members, it is the largest trade union in the Netherlands in all education sectors. The AOb is affiliated with the FNV and aims to represent the interests of everyone working in education, both in terms of educational content and employment conditions.

We offer

An exciting job, in collaboration with enthusiastic colleagues, in an organization that matters. A job with a high degree of freedom and independence in achieving the objectives. This is a temporary contract, for the duration of the project with a minimum of one year. The salary is a minimum of € 3.760 and a maximum of € 5.189 gross per month (scale VIII), with full-time employment (= 35 hours). In addition, 8,3% holiday allowance and 8,3% year-end bonus.

De AOb has good and flexible employment conditions such as 196 holiday hours and the option to build up 15 atv days. Furniture is made available on loan for a good home workplace. The pension scheme is administered by Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn; the employer pays 75% of the premium.
