The Interest Group Gymnasiale Training is committed to the preservation and quality of the gymnasial education. The group works together with the main board of the AOb and with a number of related organizations of parents, teachers and school leaders.
Within the AOb there is a separate department for the Protestant Christian movement within education. Members within this department help each other to give color to the identity in their own schools.
De AOb is available for everyone who works in education, including directors and deputy directors of (special) primary education. As a school director you can contact the Primary Education Directorate Group.
Are you a starter in education? Then come if AObmember of the Groene Golf, an action group of young teachers up to the age of 35 from all educational sectors. The group stands up for the position of young teaching staff and wants to give education a strong, positive, critical face.
All educators and students should feel accepted, respected and valued within their school or institution. It AObnetwork diversity & inclusion is committed to this. This is necessary because society is multicultural and diverse. The focus is on different kinds of diversity, sexual and gender, cultural, ethnic and religious.
The group for educational support staff stands up for the interests of educational support staff, such as teaching assistants, toas, janitors and administrators. The OOP group has its own consultant who specializes in OOP matters.
The Public Education group represents the interests of education staff who work in public education.
PLUG works for AOb members who receive benefits. This concerns colleagues who, for example, are unemployed and receive unemployment benefits or people with a disability who are on disability benefits or wia.
The General Special Education group represents the interests of the teaching staff who work at schools for general special education.
The Postactives group of the AOb focuses on retired teaching staff and represents the specific interests of this group. These are members with a retirement pension or a flexible pension.
Saint Bonaventura is one AObdepartment that stands up for the interests of members who work in Roman Catholic education. Members within this department help each other to give color to the identity in their own schools.
