Sign the petition for an internship allowance of 750 euros for education students.

More than three-quarters of students in educational programs in the Netherlands do not receive any compensation for the internship. While trainees in other sectors of the national government, such as the police or nursing, do get paid.

The fact that as an intern in education you often do your internship for free is extra bitter because you often take over entire lessons independently due to the teacher shortage.

That has to change. The AOb wants all teaching interns to receive a gross allowance of 750 euros per month (for XNUMX hours of internship per week, otherwise pro rata). This amount applies up to the final traineeship, which has already been agreed upon.
